Rich Lovesky and family went fishing with us last week and caught this beautiful White Marlin aboard the Mr. Z.  I didn’t post the picture before because my camera went dead right as we caught the fish.  I did get plenty of video of this fish being caught.  View the video below the photo.

I call it a real White because there seems to be some confusion at our dock as to what certain fish are. And on other websites this same fish would be called a 150 pound Blue Marlin.  It’s not.  It’s about a 40 pound White Marlin.  Really.  I have caught enough (and killed enough) over my twenty plus years of fishing between Key West and Habana to know and have pictures to prove it. 

Just another reason to fish with the Mr. Z.  We call ‘em what they are!
